Turns out, nothing is actually really hard.

When we set out to design the world’s best compostable straws and cups, we didn’t know the difficult journey it would take us on. Between texture, taste and format, there were more problems with the category than we initially thought.

After years of visiting manufacturers, testing, sipping, sucking, and wiping crumbly bits off our lips, we finally developed something better.

It’s no secret that plastic has overstayed its welcome, seeping contaminants into our land, water, and almond milk cappuccinos. But the alternatives leave a lot to be desired.

Between false environmental promises, misleading materials and going soggy, the bar for “sustainable cups and straws” was unsustainable.

So we got to work – engineering products that are fully compostable, plastic-free and tougher than you’d expect. Strong when you need them, gone when you don’t.

From nothing to something and back again.

OUR PROMISE

No PFAs.

No plastic linings.

No composting requirements.

Single-useful

Reusables will always be the gold standard for sustainability, but that doesn’t mean disposables should be thoughtless.

Our goal is to fill the gaps in the most responsible way possible — using high-quality, non-toxic materials that don’t stick around longer than they should.

Frequently Asked Questions

Nothing is located in Miami, Florida.

Gone in 180™ is our internal standard.
It means the materials we use are engineered to break down within 180 days under real-world conditions. Not decades. Not “eventually.” Not when shipped to a specialty facility three states away.
If it’s single-use, it should actually behave like it.

Reusables are the gold standard. If you can use one, you should.
But cafés, restaurants, events, airlines, hospitals; single-use exists for a reason.
Our job isn’t to pretend that away. It’s to make single-use less permanent.

Our products are manufactured in Indonesia, one of the world’s largest paper-producing regions and a hub for fiber innovation. That’s where the expertise and infrastructure exist to build what we’re building.
When we reach the scale to support manufacturing in North America, we will. Until then, we focus on performance, material integrity, and impact.
